CACR 15 Passed the New Hampshire House. Next up is the Senate!<\/strong>
\nCACR 15 proposes a Constitutional amendment enabling taxpayers to bring judgments against the government.<\/p>\n

The NH House voted overwhelmingly for a constitutional amendment to restore taxpayer standing.
\nCACR 15 passed 309-9, greatly exceeding the two-thirds threshold required to put an amendment on the ballot.
\nThe Senate must also give two-thirds approval to enable voters to decide on the amendment in November.<\/p>\n

CACR 15 provides that a taxpayer who is eligible to vote in the state has standing to petition the court to declare whether the state or the political subdivision in which the taxpayer resides has spent funds in violation of a law, ordinance, or constitutional provision.<\/strong><\/p>\n
