{"id":4961,"date":"2020-04-03T11:54:34","date_gmt":"2020-04-03T15:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/granitestatetaxpayers.org\/gst\/?p=4961"},"modified":"2020-08-27T13:19:55","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T17:19:55","slug":"counter-radical-environmentalist-plans-50-years-of-failed-predictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/granitestatetaxpayers.org\/gst\/counter-radical-environmentalist-plans-50-years-of-failed-predictions\/","title":{"rendered":"50 Years of Failed Climate Predictions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>50 Years of Failed Climate Predictions<\/strong><br \/>\nJoseph D\u2019Aleo, CCM<\/p>\n<p><strong>This article is one of a series that counters the Green Agenda by presenting facts about the climate.<\/strong><br \/>\nGovernment agencies, energy companies, auto and major corporations are increasing their support of de-carbonization programs and policies (including taxes, mandated reduction of the use of fossil fuels and promoting not ready for prime time alternatives).<br \/>\n<strong>This has proved to be a disaster where this unwise radical agenda has been imposed.<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><strong>This isn&#8217;t the first time we were told we faced an existential threat due to &#8220;climate change&#8221;. <\/strong><br \/>\nIn 1970, Stanford\u2019s Paul Ehrlich warned that because of population growth, climate stress (then cold) and dwindling energy that between 1980 and 1989, some 4 billion people, including 65 million Americans, would perish in the \u201cGreat Die-Off\u201d which was too late to stop.<br \/>\nEven as each subsequent dire forecast failed, the alarms continued, each pushing the date forward &#8211; 2000, 2020, and now 2030.
