Sixty-two percent (62%) say voter ID laws don\u2019t discriminate. <\/p>\n<p>A majority (51%) of voters believe it is likely that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, including 35% who say it\u2019s Very Likely cheating affected the election. Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it is likely last year\u2019s presidential election was affected by cheating, a view shared by 30% of Democrats and 51% of voters not affiliated with either major party.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on April 11-12, 2021 by Rasmussen Reports. <\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/questions\/questions\/april_2021\/questions_election_integrity_april_11_12_2021\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Survey questions were<\/a>:<br \/>\n1 Is it too easy or too hard to vote in the United States today? Or is the level of difficulty about right?<br \/>\n2 Which is more important: Making it easier for everybody to vote, or making sure there is no cheating in elections?<br \/>\n3 Do laws requiring photo identification at the polls discriminate against some voters?<br \/>\n4 How likely is it that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election?<\/p>\n<p>Concerns about cheating have plagued President Joe Biden ever since Election Day. In November, a Rasmussen Reports survey found 47% of voters believed it was likely that Democrats stole votes or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Biden would win. An overwhelming majority of GOP voters believe Democrats cheated in 2020. Republican officials have responded by launching an election integrity project to make it \u201ceasier to vote and harder to cheat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked which is more important, making it easier for everybody to vote, or making sure there is no cheating in elections, 60% of Likely Voters say it\u2019s more important to prevent cheating, while 37% said it\u2019s more important to make it easier to vote.
