All of the above promotes business investment and labor force growth.<\/p>\n<p>Lowering the Interest and Dividend tax rate, with a goal of eventual repeal, so retirees can stay in state.<\/p>\n<p>Reduction in the Rooms and Meals tax rate to promote tourism and the economy.<br \/>\nAllocation of a greater percentage of Rooms and Meals revenue to towns and cities, enabling local tax relief.<\/p>\n<p>Allocation of $100 Million directly to property taxpayers for tax relief by reducing their property tax bills.<\/p>\n<p>Education Saving Accounts to promote school choice and competition, with expected lower overall cost.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All of the above will lower the cost of government for individuals and business, promoting growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Granite State Taxpayers<\/em> supports passage of the budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gencourt.state.nh.us\/house\/members\/default.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to find your House Members and urge them to vote for the budget.<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Posted by <em>GST<\/em> Chairman Ray Chadwick<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s Time to Pass the New Hampshire Budget.
