Granite State Taxpayers success results from the efforts of dedicated individuals fighting for the taxpayers.
Roy Stewart was one of those individuals.
Roy served as Chairman of Granite State Taxpayers during during the 1990s and 2000s.
He worked for passage of key pro-taxpayer legislation such as of SB-2 voting for towns and school districts.
This legislation enabled citizens to vote on school and town spending measures in the privacy of a voting booth, free of the influence of powerful unions and pro-spenders that oppose cost savings.
We are saddened to report that Roy Stewart passed away recently. Following is his obituary.
