by | Sep 12, 2016 | Legislation, Press Releases, Special Alerts

Granite State Taxpayers has reviewed the voting record of NH Legislators in the past session to determine how their votes support issues and programs that are beneficial to the interests of New Hampshire taxpayers.

A legislator’s past voting record is relevant to deciding whether to support them if they are running for reelection in 2016.

Individual Vote Details
This will open a read-only Excel workbook with individual sheets (click on them at the bottom of the screen) showing House Details and Senate Details with votes by legislator for each of the roll-call votes reviewed for the Scorecard. The GST preferred votes are listed as either 1 for “Yea”, in support of the motion, or -1 for “Nay”, opposed to the motion. The individual scores for each legislator reflect all of their votes on the roll call votes GST reviewed. The specific score is the number of votes in agreement with the GST preference, minus the number of votes not in agreement with the GST preference.

Granite State Taxpayers is New Hampshire’s oldest statewide taxpayer association. Founded in 1990 by former Governor Mel Thomson and former State Senator George Lovejoy, our mission is to inform, educate and motivate New Hampshire taxpayers and to lobby the legislature on their behalf.
