Granite State Taxpayers was founded in 1990 by Governor Mel Thomson and State Senator George Lovejoy.
Gov. Mel “Axe the Tax” Thomson is famous his statement that “Low Taxes are the Result of Low Spending.”
Tom Thomson, from Orford, NH, carries on that tradition of civic service and opposition to higher taxes.
Tom will share his memories of Gov. Thomson and his efforts in opposition to taxes such as the “View Tax”.
