GST Summer Meeting with Gov. Chris Sununu

Gov. Sununu was the Keynote Speaker at the GST Summer Meeting.

Christopher T. Sununu has been the New Hampshire Governor through 8 years of momentous change.

Facing Democrat majorities in his second term, he used his veto power to stop the Democrat agenda.

Sununu described how NH has prospered during his terms with Republican Legislatures and Councils.

Their effort, dedication and perserverence resulted in the following accomplishments:
– A growing economy, low unemployment, new businesses and people moving to the state.
– NH ranked the best in comparing, by state, the quality of government services to the tax burden.
– Educational choice was expanded. Rainy day funds were replenished.
– Business taxes were reduced, and funds were returned to communities to reduce property taxes.
– Interest & Dividend tax scheduled to end after 2024.
